New Zealand to increase wages for migrant workers in 2023

From Immigration NZ:
For most, the new median wage will become NZD $29.66 an hour from 27 February 2023. The exception to this will be in the tourism and hospitality industries where staggered increases will occur at later dates. In April 2023 the median wage for these two industries will increase from $25 to $28.18 and in April 2024 it will be increased again to $29.66.

New median wages will apply in NZ from February 2023
Wages that fall under the Accredited Employer Visa (AEWV), occupations covered by sector agreements, and residence visa categories will have their median value increased from early next year.For most, the new median wage will become NZD $29.66 an hour from 27 February 2023.
