Warehouse Operative

My client is looking for a real go getter to join their team. You will be working closely with the logistics manager and if you are looking to start your journey in logistics, then look no further. THE ROLE
- Pick & pack orders, including processing of transfer paperwork
- Inform branches of back orders & ETA of parts
- Responsibility for the cleanliness of warehouse and office
- Creation of part order requests or PO# requests to be submitted to Logistics Manager for authorisation and posting
- Manage incoming telephone enquiries - respond to telephone callers/visitors in a pleasant, timely and courteous manner – e.g. Parts requests from external parties, supplier visits
- Provide support for Branch Managers
- Maintain warehouse equipment, supplies and stationery
- Establish and maintain effective liaison with personnel in IRS branches
- Warranty Parts Holding, Return and Processing
- Core return handling
- Star Cool warranty core process
- Regular Cycle Counting process & reporting
- Creation of part order requests or PO# requests
- Develop full understanding of stocktake processing & guidelines
- Actively investigate & implement Continuous Improvement ideas.
ABOUT YOU
- Team player
- Experience working in warehouse would be a bonus but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Hard working and driven – willingness to learn, not afraid to get stuck in
- Someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions
- Be able to lift up to 25kg without any issues
