Mechanic/ Maintenance/ Trades Assistant

Taslo Engineering is a well-respected and established structural engineering company.

We have an immediate full time position available for MECHANIC/ MAINTENANCE/ TRADES ASSISTANT.

Key skills & requirements:

• Certified/ experienced mechanic/ maintenance person.

• Truck & Trailer experience (including confidence in backing).

• Good mechanical understanding of trucks and maintenance.

• Servicing of our fleet of vehicles, Ute’s, Class 5 trucks, cranes, E.W.P’s, trailers & possibly one of the company’s two race cars.

• Be self-motivated & able to work unsupervised and to high standards.

• Must have a positive attitude towards health & safety.

• Be Punctual, Reliable & Trustworthy.

• Overtime available and paid at time and a half.

An applicant with a general engineering background would be preferred and class 5 licence would be an advantage. We are a very busy workshop so the ideal applicant needs to work well under pressure, unsupervised and as part of a team.
