We need an apprentice roofer for an immediate start in a family-run business looking for a new crew member to join a great team.
You will get to work on various projects, both commercial and residential. Some roofing, flashings or relevant construction experience is preferred, but full on-the-job training will be provided.
Projects you may have the chance to be involved in include:
- Re-roofing
- Skylight replacement
- Leak investigation and repair
- Flashing and spouting repairs/replacement
- Painting and rust mitigation
About You
If you have what it takes to fit our client's company culture, then qualification is not a requirement; a good attitude and reliability are what is really needed.
If you have a great work ethic, are honest, agile, and presentable; are capable of challenging, sometimes physically demanding work; can pick things up quickly and are not afraid of heights, then you have what it takes to be a roofer.
Key Requirements
- Reliable transport and a current driver's licence
- Physically fit
- Able to pass a drug test
- Heights harness ticket and SiteSafe are beneficial but can be provided
